Rapport fra Situation Room 

On Sunday night in Herning, during the game between Herning Blue Fox and Rungsted Seier Capital. Rungsted Head coach Håkan Åhlund was assessed a game misconduct penalty for Verbal Abuse of Officials. 

During a stoppage of play and a routine line change procedure, Håkan Åhlund made gestures directed at the on-ice officials with the intention of publicly demeaning the official. 

He was immediately ejected from the game and ordered to leave the bench. 

These actions from anyone involved in the Metal Ligaen are unacceptable and will not be tolerated, especially from a head coach who is meant to lead by example. 

Recommendation: 

Supplemental discipline should be pursued in line with the previously established disciplinary procedures in the form of a fine for this first offense.

Baseret på det forliggende videomateriale, den af Situation Room udarbejdede rapport har udvalget besluttet følgende og tidligere afgørelser: 

Håkan Åhlund/Rungsted Seier Capital straffes med en bøde på kr. 5.000 

Det bemærkes, at lignende opførsel fra Rungsteds trænerstab i denne sæson vil medføre skærpede disciplinære sanktioner
