Den tidligere Esbjerg import, Jordan Smotherman, indstiller sin aktive karriere, og bliver cheftræner for New York Islanders ECHL afdeling, Worcester Railers.
Smotherman kom først til Esbjerg i 2011-12 hvor det blev til 44 kampe og i alt 64 point fordelt på 32 mål og 32 assists.
Derefter tog Smotherman til Sverige, Finland, USA, Tyskland og England, før han igen vendte tilbage til Esbjerg i 2020-21. I denne sæson blev det til 22 kampe, 4 mål og 3 assists.
