Hey Aleksi, your season is underway in Finland but you have only played 6 of 11 games. Why is this the case?
we have 9 good defencemen. There is a rotation because 60 games is long season. On the other hand we need to compete all the time and 7 best d-men is in the lineup. Also some little injury came after 6 games. I ll be ready to play soon.

You have 3 assists in those 6 games, seems like you got off to a good start. How will this time off effect your play when you return?
Yes i was ready to play right from the start. Im In a great shape and full of energy to give my best. If i think positively i can take some harder work outs In the gym and work with skate technic during the rehab. I also do mental practise every day.

Your team is currently in 6th place after 11 games are you satisfied with your play thus far or are there many things to work on improving?
Actually we have played better lately, actually, better than it looks in the standings. But now it is October and we want develop step by step all the time and go towards our goals.

You played in the Liiga back in the 16-17 season, has the level of played changed in the year you were away? How would you describe the best Finnish Liiga and how much higher level of play there is compared to the Metalliga here in Denmark?
Last years game has changed faster and faster. There is not many control breakouts anymore. And i think it is same kind of trend all over hockey world. It is more reacting. If i compare Finnish Liiga to metalligaen. Liiga is more physical but both leagues are fast. As you see in the CHL there is nog so big gaps between european top teams. Also it is interesting to see that there came many guys from EBEL league to Finnish Liiga and took a big role on Finnish teams this year.

If things don’t workout for the team in this season, (which we of course really hope they do) would you consider another rental period in Rungsted again?
I dont want to think that because now i have great chance to play in a fantastic organisation In HIFK . Denmark is beautiful country and the guys and fans in Rungsted were amazing. There is also one of the best equipment managers Trine, Rasmus and Freddy. We had a great couple of months there together?
